The German born Trance DJ/Producer, Roger Shah, hardly needs an introduction but for those who aren't in the know, he is regarded as the King of Balearic Trance amongst the Trance Faithful.
 
With massive hits like 'Going Wrong' with Armin van Buuren, 'Who Will Find Me' and 'Lost' (under his Sunlounger alias) it's no wonder Roger is held in such high regard by the global Trance & EDM community or that he holds a strong position in the DJ Mag Top 100 listing at #51.

SAtrancefamily Special Guest Set No.17 - DJ Speedy

This is the 17th edition in the SAtrancefamily 'Special Guest Set' series
 
DJ Speedy started his DJ'ing career in 1994 at the age of 15 at 'Xenon' in Portugal and went on to his first residency at Greens Nightclub within a year.
 
In March 1999 and 2000 he won the prestigious South African DJ of the year competition, with local and international judges, the competition included some of South Africa’s finest DJ’s, playing to an audience of 6000 people - In 2005 he entered the DJ MAG Top 250 at number 241.
 
Speedy has played alongside top internationals such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox, Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Nick Warren, Sasha, Jon Digweed, Yves De Reuter and Dave Seamen name a few.

This is the 16th edition in the SAtrancefamily 'Special Guest Set' series 
 
Shaun was originally inspired & influenced by Paul Oakenfold through his 'Essential Mix' world tour sets back in '99/'00 and joined UCT Radio in Cape Town in '01 to start 'Come Down Monday', a 2hr show dedicated to Trance & Progressive
 
He started his live DJing career in '03 and quickly became a natural behind the decks and in '09 formed the Cape Town based events brand, 'Halo Live', along with Scott Small and Rory Mitchell, which has been instrumental in bringing big acts to South Africa over the years
 
Shaun graduates to 'DJ/Producer' status here with his debut Production of 'Only You' featured exclusively in this SAtrancefamily 'Special Guest Set'

Stefan has always had a passion for life, people and all forms of EDM.

SAtrancefamily Special Guest Set No.14 - T.O.M.

This is the 14th edition in the SAtrancefamily 'Special Guest Set' series

T.O.M. stands for Trance-O-Matic and consists of two members, Janco Krale (28) & Theo Mulder (28), both hailing from a little town called Staphorst in the north of Holland near Zwolle.
 
In 2009 T.O.M. had releases on Black Hole Recordings, In Trance We Trust, Fektive, Musical Madness and Spinnin, they also produced remixes for the likes of Ron van den Beuken, P.H.A.T.T., Virtual Vault, Julian Vincent, Amex and others.
 
Their productions have been supported by Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, W&W, Markus Schulz, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Paul Oakenfold and more.
 
Watch out for this talented duo in the very near future.
